As most know by now, TV icon Andy Griffith passed away on Tuesday in his native North Carolina at the age of 86.
I came across this tribute which was written by Ron Howard (who played Mr. Griffith’s son Opie on the “Andy Griffith Show in the 1960s) for the Los Angeles Times. Mr. Howard writes:
“Andy Griffith entertained us for decades on stage, via our radios, sound systems, TVs and up there on the silver screen. Comedy, drama or music, he brought his love of performing to each creative undertaking.”
Please take a moment to read the entire tribute, in which Mr. Howard shares his most treasured memories about Mr. Griffith.

"All of life is a journey which paths we take, what we look back on, and what we look forward to is up to us. We determine our destination, what kind of road we will take to get there, and how happy we are when we get there."
