Daily Coffee May Help Seniors Live Longer

A leading U.S. Cancer Institute study suggests that adults 50-71 (the target Sciddy audience) might lower their risk of dying from common causes by 10% by consuming three cups of coffee or more daily.

The finding applies to those that drink either caffeinated or decaffeinated coffee. It indicates that coffee drinking is related to a decrease in fatalities from causes such as cardiovascular disease, respiratory illness, stroke, diabetes, infections and injuries/accidents.

The results also showed that drinking even one cup of coffee per day was linked to a lower overall risk of dying.
